Having a website is not a requirement for this mastermind. My goal is to help you drive traffic to your content, whether that’s on your website, blog, or social media platforms, and to assist you in growing your email list so you can nurture and convert leads effectively.
However, I personally recommend that all entrepreneurs and businesses set up a website and/or blog for several reasons:
- It’s beneficial for business, especially if you want your business to organically appear in Google
- It allows you to legally own all your content (FYI – you don’t own your social media content) and track your growth and rankings
It’s important that you are computer literate, have a basic understanding of digital platforms and are already running a business online. There will be technical systems you may want to implement (email sequences, scheduling systems, etc.) and my goal is always to simplify these and break them down into easy-to-understand steps. So no, you don’t need to be a tech whizz who enjoys coding for fun, but you should feel comfortable navigating digital tools and platforms.
This mastermind isn’t for those seeking overnight fame or quick tips to go viral on social media. The Digital Priestess Collective is designed for committed soulpreneurs who are willing to invest time and energy into strategies that deliver lasting results. These are called ‘long-term strategies’ because setting them up requires effort. And whilst many of these methods are “set and forget” or require minimal monthly maintenance, they may take time to show results.
Unlike social media, where popularity can spike quickly but fade just as fast, the strategies I teach foster slower yet powerful growth. Content created through these methods also has a longer lifespan: an average Instagram post lasts about 48 hours in the feed, whereas a Pinterest post can remain visible for up to 6 months in search results, and a well-ranking blog post can maintain its popularity on Google for about 2 years.
Which would you prefer—5,000 views on a 15-second video over 48 hours, or 5,000 monthly reads of an article on Google that positions you as the authority and includes a direct link to subscribe to your email list or book a call with you?
If your website has never appeared in Google, typically it takes about three months to start showing up in searches, six at the most.
Based on my own results, I usually start ranking about six weeks from publishing my content. However, the quickest I’ve achieved was two weeks after posting, and recently, a client of mine ranked in Google just one week after posting her content.
Ultimately, achieving Google rankings boils down to three key factors: 1) keywords – topics I extensively cover within the DCP portal, 2) Patience, and 3) Consistency. And ‘consistency’ doesn’t mean being active 24/7, but rather ensuring your systems are set up to consistently post on your behalf; another topic I extensively cover in the DPC portal. These elements are crucial, but once you start ranking, the process accelerates and becomes almsot effortless.
