It’s important that you are computer literate and have a basic understanding of digital platforms. There will be technical systems you may want to implement (Google search console etc) and my goal is always to simplify these and break them down into easy-to-understand steps.
So no, you don’t need to be a tech whizz who enjoys coding for fun, but you should feel comfortable navigating digital tools and platforms.
This course isn’t for those seeking overnight fame or quick tips to go viral on social media. Blogger Bootcamp is designed for committed online businesses who are willing to invest time and energy into strategies that deliver lasting results. These are called ‘long-term strategies’ because setting them up requires effort. And whilst many of these methods are “set and forget” or require minimal monthly maintenance, they may take time to show results.
Unlike social media, where popularity can spike quickly but fade just as fast, the strategies I teach foster slower yet powerful growth. Content created through these methods also has a longer lifespan: an average Instagram post lasts about 48 hours in the feed, whereas a well-ranking blog post can maintain its popularity on Google for about 2 years.
If your website has never appeared in Google, typically it takes about three months to start showing up in searches, six at the most.
Based on my own results, I usually start ranking about six weeks from publishing my content. However, the quickest I’ve achieved was two weeks after posting, and recently, a client of mine ranked in Google just one week after posting her content.
Ultimately, achieving Google rankings boils down to three key factors: 1) keywords – topics I extensively cover within Blogger Bootcamp 2) Patience, and 3) Consistency. And ‘consistency’ doesn’t mean being active 24/7, but rather ensuring your systems are set up to consistently post on your behalf; another topic I extensively cover in the DPC portal. These elements are crucial, but once you start ranking, the process accelerates and becomes almost effortless.
